The RoleRestaurant Manager will need to oversee the daily operations of our hotel as well as provide strategicdirection. The role includes maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals. Ensureefficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer servicestandards.

Qualifications and requirements
  1. Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management, Food Production, Catering, Sales and Marketing
  2. At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role with local area knowledge
  3. Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, HospitalityManager or similar role
  4. Proven customer service experience as a manager
  5. Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients anddishes to inform customers and wait staff
  6. Familiarity with restaurant management software
  7. Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
  8. Acute financial management skills
  9. Ability to formulate business strategies and motivate the staff
  10. Windows Office literate and other relevant computer packages


  1. Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
  2.  Take responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant
  3.  Analyse and plan restaurant sales levels and profitability
  4.  Organise marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes
  5. Prepare reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control and sales
  6.  Set budgets or agree them with senior management
  7.  Plan and coordinate menus
  8.  Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
  9.  Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
  10.  Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
  11.  Organize and supervise shifts
  12.  Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
  13.  Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
  14.  Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
  15.  Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
  16.  Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
  17.  Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
  18.  Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
  19.  Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
  20.  Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations overall report.

Job Requirements

Required education: Diploma, Associate's degree
Required relevant work experience: 3 years
