Job Summary

BioLite is a US-based social business, which designs, manufactures, and markets energy products for off-grid communities around the world.
Half the planet still cooks on indoor open wood fires and the toxic smoke they emit kills nearly 4 million people every year. Indoor fires are also inefficient, requiring double the fuel of more efficient stoves, and producing particles, which pollute our atmosphere contributing to climate change.

In response to these challenges, BioLite has developed the HomeStove. The HomeStove is an advanced, affordable, clean-burning stove that can reduce indoor smoke by 90%, and reduce fuel use by half. Additionally, the HomeStove produces electricity from the fire for charging phones and lights.

Qualification and Skills
• General understanding of the principles of sales
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong listening, presentation and decision-making skills
• High school diploma required
• Bachelors in marketing or sales is preferred
• Experience with customer service
• Proven track record in achieving sales quotas


BioLite is looking for a responsible and highly motivated Sales Merchandisers on a part time basis. Our ideal candidates will deliver a professional presentation to customers within our Retail Channels and uphold the ideals and standards of our company. The successful Sales Associates will constantly strive to meet all sales goals and exceed customer expectations. Retail Sales Merchandisers must be prepared to work in a competitive environment.

Job Requirements

Required education: High, secondary school
Required relevant work experience: 12 months
Required skills: Reporting; Customer service; Sales performance tracking and reporting; Product demonstration and promotion; Marketing
Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
