Job Summary

Our client, a retail trader (jewelry, African art, crafts, precious and semi-precious stones) with scope of operation at the local and international levels, is hiring Retail Sales Representatives.


Responsibilities

  1. Sell specific products and services to consumers.
  2. Demonstrate products and show consumers how to maximize their features.
  3. Explain different customizable features.
  4. Send low stock to the purchasing team on daily basis
  5. Send the reorder of stock weekly
  6. Check inventory to ensure product is in stock.
  7. Bag and package customer purchases
  8. Fold clothes, and place neatly in packaging bags shelves to ensure they are untampered
  9. Collect methods of payment and dispense change.
  10. Merchandise goods and items
  11. Ensure the shop is clean at all times.
  12. Operate cash registers using point of sale system
  13. Count the day's money transactions at the end of the shift and deposit the cash.
  14. Set up display cases.
  15. Determine seasonal trends and adjust displays as needed.
  16. Stock shelves using stock supplied by headquarters
  17. Receive stock and send delivery report when stock is received
  18. Ensure pricing is correct and report on bar-codes missing and incorrect prices.
  19. Requisition for stationery that are out of stock at the shop a day before delivery days
  20. Filling of the cash analysis sheet after every shift
  21. Ensure that all items that are matched and in order
