Job Summary

Memtech Electrical Services is an engineering firm offering services in supply, installation, commissioning, servicing and repair of standby and prime generating sets Including (Cummins, Lister Petter, Perkins, SDMO, Caterpillar) in Kenya.
They are looking for a Sales and Administration manager to join their team.


Pursue business opportunities by identification of sales prospects.

 Ensure consistent profitable growth of sales revenues through positive planning and deployment of resource requirements.
 Identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long term sales and earnings
 Endeavor to continuously research and update knowledge on all products i.e. generators (new and maintenance contracts), water pumps and backups on offer, including products on offer by competitors.
 Evaluate brand position in relation to competing products in the market and industry.
 Provide regular product SWOT analysis reports as bases for sales options
 Manage sales activities on major accounts and negotiate sales price and discounts
 Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients by providing pre and post sales information and aftermarket support and follow-up
 Recommending product, service, and process improvements in relation to local and international industry trends.
 Presentation Skills, Client Relationship Management Skills, Negotiation Skills, Prospecting Skills, Forecasting & planning skills.  Plan and coordinate administrative procedures, processes and systems.  Assess both sales and administration staff performance, guide and train to achieve maximum efficiency.  Oversee the day to day operations of administrative duties including; supplies, office equipment and appliances.  Plan and control inventory  Propose, manage and allocate administration budget for accounting purposes for both admin and sales.  Supervise and control creditors and debtors.
