Job Summary

Cytonn Investments is an independent investments management firm, with offices in Nairobi - Kenya and D.C. Metro - U.S. We are primarily focused on offering alternative investment solutions to global and local institutional investors, individual high net-worth investors, and diaspora investors interested in the East-African region.


Our investments are in real estate and private equity. Real estate investments are made through our development affiliate, Cytonn Real Estate, where we currently have over Kshs. 82 billion (USD 820 mn) of projects under mandate across ten projects. In private equity, we invest in banking, insurance, education, hospitality and technology. Our financial services investments in Sub Saharan Africa are made through our Cytonn Financial Services Fund (CFSF) through which we are the 5th largest shareholder in NIC Bank in Kenya. Investments in education and hospitality are made through Cytonn Education Services and Cytonn Hospitality, respectively.


We are seeking an experienced and motivated sales associate to join our team as a Sales and Marketing Associate and have direct impact on Cytonn sales and marketing.

REQUIREMENTS
  1. KCSE grade B+ and above
  2. A second class upper division degree from a reputable institution
  3. At least 3-5 years’ relevant sales experience in real estate and financial products
  4. Individuals with youthful energy and a team spirit
  5. Ability to meet targets
  6. Resourcefulness, initiative, maturity of judgement and tact
  7. Presentable and with good command of the English language
  8. Strong communication skills and ability to identify prospective clients
  9. Good understanding of Cytonn products and willingness to learn
  10. Ability to confidently explain and sell financial products and real-estate
  11. Excellent client service skills
  12. Ability to guide clients to the activation desk, hold a conversation and create interest in the produce


Responsibilities

  1. Be involved in developing marketing strategies for one of our iconic developments and sourcing for prospective clients
  2. Taking the clients through the product until the execution of the sale
  3. He/she shall attend and represent Cytonn in events held such as expos and sales activations
  4. Monitoring and analysing sales and market trends
  5. Identifying target markets and developing strategies to communicate with them
  6. Building market position of the development by locating, developing, defining, negotiating and closing business relationships with clients
  7. Carry out product demonstration to clients and brief them about the benefits, location, prices and payment methods
  8. Carry out site visits to showcase the products to the clients
  9. Share a daily report on the achievements, products uptake, as well as any challenges encountered
  10. Carry out regional marketing campaigns for the development
  11. Carry out any other duties as may be prescribed from time to time by your supervisor
  12. Responsible for being a brand ambassador for the development involved and acting professional at all times
  13. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
