Job Summary

Our client an FMCG dealing with cakes and bread-Baking and Distributing across the country; is looking to employ an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate will have over five years’ experience in a busy company mostly dealing with food items/ confectionaries/bread/ cakes and cookies. The job holder will be a liaison between the sales and production department in the organization to ensure customer demands are met, orders are well captured and sales targets are met. He/ she will be tasked with establishing customer rapport to realize growth in accounts as assigned.


  1. Coordinate orders between sales and production to ensure efficiency on demand planning
  2. Constant feedback to the management from the market and decide on future strategies
  3. To increase the profitability of the company, by aiming to expand the market
  4. Act as a liaison between the management and the customers and try to meet the expectations of both
  5. Explore the market to look for opportunities
  6. Come up with sales and marketing strategies to increase profitability
  7. Coordinate sales on attainment of daily targets
  8. Resolve customer claims and queries
  9. Follow with key accounts and establish customer relationships to increase sales
  10. Ensure revenue generation with fewer risks
  11. Develop customers and gain their confidence
  12. Forecast the market and communicate effectively
  13. Manage the sales and marketing department budget
  14. Recruit, coach and train a motivated sales and marketing team
  15. Prepare and analyze sales reports for Management review
