A progressive, dynamic, fun and fast-paced International school based in Tatu City is looking to recruit a School Counsellor to join in September 2018. The school has proven excellence, particularly on the academic and leadership front, with a British Curriculum – IGCSE system set-up. The ideal candidate must be passionate about toddlers & young children, willing to work in a non-traditional environment that enable children to take responsibility for their own learning through deciding and voting for themes that become their curriculum. He/she MUST naturally love kids and be willing and able to support them 100%.
- Provide counselling services to the students through appointments and drop in sessions.
Provide crisis counseling for students in need.
Formulation and review of the appropriate systems, policies and procedures relating to the counselling services and care of students.
Act as Staff Liaison.
Serve as advocate and/or intermediary for students.
- Confer with parents, faculty, and administrators with regard to students with academic or personal difficulties as necessary.
