Job Summary

REF: BDSC/21/2020
The application should be filled in triplicate on PSC Form3 revised 2008 and submitted to the Secretary Bushenyi District Service Commission, P.O Box 1, Bushenyi to be received no later than 12th November 2020.
Application forms are obtained from the Public Service Commission offices, District Service Commission Offices countrywide, as well as the Ministry of Public Service website: www.publicservice.go.ug
Applications should bear the title of the Post as well as the Reference Number specified against the vacancy.
Applicants should attach a set of 3 photocopies of their certified certificates and transcript plus 3 passport size photographs.
Those already in Government service should route their applications through their responsible officers who should be informed of the closing date to avoid delay.
NB:
• Those who had applied in May and June 2020 should not apply again because we have the application forms.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Responsibilities

i. Undertaking administrative duties to facilitate the effective operation of the District Land Board;
ii. Processing lease application documents for submission to the Land Board;
iii. Preparing lease offer advertisements for the allocation of newly gazette land;
iv. Recording minutes of the meetings of the District Land Board;
v. Communicating the decisions of the Board to the relevant parties and authorities;
vi. Keeping safe custody of records of the Land Board;
vii. Providing technical advice to the Land Board;
viii. Scheduling Board meetings on advice of the Chairperson;
ix. Preparing Work plans, budgets and quarterly reports for the Board and submit them to the relevant authorities.

Job Requirements

Required education: Bachelor's degree
Required relevant work experience: 3 years
Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
