Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: aviation-related fields, law, social sciences, criminology, economics, public/business administration, security studies or any other social sciences from a recognized institution or advanced professional qualifications in AVSEC.
Certificate in National Inspectors’ Course from an institution recognized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
Valid certification as a National Aviation Security Inspector.
At least four (4) certificates from the list of the courses below or their equivalent qualifications from institutions recognized by ICAO or KCAA:- AVSEC basic;
i. Cargo and mail security;
ii. Certification systems;
iii. National quality control;
iv. Supervisors’ course;
v. Airline security;
vi. Aviation security instructors course
vii. National civil aviation security training programme.
viii. Dangerous Goods Regulations category 6;
