The project focuses on providing lifesaving assistance through Multipurpose cash transfers for basic needs. The Senior Cash and Markets Officer (SCMO) will provide technical advice, guidance, and support to the successful design and implementation of the project, capacity build staff, beneficiaries and financial service providers whose role will solely disburse cash to targeted persons with a specific need (PSNs) to meet their immediate basic needs in Imvepi and Omugo refugee settlements in Arua District.
The SCMO will work closely and coordinate with other coordination mechanisms i.e West Nile cash working group, National cash working group, Collaborative cash delivery platform, interagency coordination among others.
The activities will among others include building the capacity of partners to effectively implement cash and market activities, technical backstopping, guiding on innovative cash modality transfers, market assessments, post distribution monitoring, and market price monitoring, as well as complaints and feedback handling mechanisms.
The SCMO refers to the PM and she/ he will be supervising Cash and Markets Officer and Assistant.
