Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualiﬁed Ugandans to ﬁll the following vacant posts which exist in Nansana and Kira Municipal Councils. Applications on PSF 3, should be addressed and submitted to the Secretary, District Service Commission — Wakiso P.0. Box T218 Kampala not later than 19/3/2021. Women and Persons with Special needs are encouraged to apply.

Strictly observe the following:

1. For those already in service, applying for senior positions, PSF 3 should be routed through your respective Responsible Ofﬁcer who should observe the closing date.

2. Applications must bear the title of the post applied for as well as the reference number.

3. PHOTOSTAT copies of academic certiﬁcates and transcripts fully certified by the awarding institution must be attached to the applications.

4. A current Annual practicing license [2021] for Health workers.

Job purpose:
To support the Principal Education Officer in the implementation of education policies, plans, programs and strategies.
Qualifications:
Should hold an Honors Bachelors Degree with Education from a recognized university or institution.

Responsibilities

i. Monitoring and reporting on performance of teachers;
ii. Collecting and managing school data;
iii. Advising and guiding head teachers and school management committees;

iv. Preparing periodic activity reports for submission to principal Education Officer;

v. Advising on the appointment of school management committees or board of governors ; and

vi. Enhancing collaboration with school foundation bodies.

Job Requirements

Required education: Bachelor's degree
Required relevant work experience: 2 years
Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
