In Uganda, we implement programmes in five thematic programme areas of Child Protection, Child Rights Governance, Education, Child Poverty, Health and Nutrition in Development and Emergency contexts. Responsibilities

  1. The Social Cohesion/ Youth Engagement (SCYE) will manage the social cohesion component of the project: participatory selection of beneficiaries, prioritization of CfW activities, life skills awareness raising during Phase 1 (design of life skills sensitizations, training of sub-area managers and field officers) and social cohesion aspects before and during Phase 2 (creation, coaching of beneficiaries' groups, follow-up of group enterprises)
  2. At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in engagement, participatory approaches, livelihoods, social enterprise, etc.
  3. Knowledge of West Nile, Uganda, and displacement (refugee) context preferred; andKnowledge of a local language
  4. Understanding of social relations and commitment to integrate gender, diversity and other power related issues into programme activities
