Research: Carry out intensive online research to ensure that the inspiration pool for the content being developed is well stocked. The ideas main objective is to be creative and engaging with the client's audience.
Strategy formulation : Design social media strategies to achieve marketing targets
Calendar preparation: Editorial calendar planning and creating development plans for online content; recommending content types and organization based on user needs and marketing goals, identifying content gaps.
Execution: Oversee that all the accounts are in line with the corresponding strategies that have been developed for them.
Coordination/ Liaison: This is typically coordinating the content creation process. Liaising with writers and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing. Please note that this includes ensuring the artwork goes through the right approval process by working closely with the Digital department head to ensure that the strategies established are maintained and kept up to date and communicated to all key staff for proper execution.
Preparation of Creative briefs: Social media manager prepares the briefs for the graphic designers as regards the digital calendar and whatever
need that may arise from the client.
Relations: Be a point of contact between Moving Ads and the clients.
Liaise with clients and take part in weekly meetings with them to give them a sense of peace of having their social media needs being handled
by professionals. These meetings shall only involve select clients and
should always be attended with the account manager.
Social media support and monitoring: Strictly and keenly monitor the
clients pages for feedback we can provide and this may involve taking
part in the customer reply duties on the various pages. For example
cases where fellow partners are talking to us online.
Report generation: Create a daily progress report of work that was
accomplished that day to give a clear picture of the scope of work at
hand and progress to complete it
Client digital Event logistics and management: As social media manager
you shall coordinate on ground events our clients may be sponsoring or
organizing as planned.
Digital trends : Monitoring the latest trends in social media, including
advertising formats, channels and technologies in order to improve
campaign performance and provide recommendations on how clients
can best leverage new tools and services. Also keeping up to date and on
top of trends and news so as to ensure that the interaction online is
relevant, in time and is felt by the online community.
Contact point: between company suppliers, employees and freelancers,
liaising daily often via telephone and email
Any other duties which may be required from time to time as directed by
the Digital Marketing Manager or wider team.
