Job Summary


M-KOPA is looking to recruit a Software Quality Analyst.This is a role within the Testing and Quality Assurance (TQA) team, reporting to the Software Quality Assurance Lead. He/she will liaise with other members in the TQA team, as well as various staff in Product Management, Delivery Management, Operations and End User teams to support Testing activities for business-critical Test projects.


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:


-Support TQA senior team as required to plan, build and execute test strategies for identified systems and solutions

-Develop Test documentation (e.g. test cases and scripts) to be used in the testing process

-Rigorous testing of M-KOPA's solutions to be deployed, channeling feedback to the development team in a clear, structured way.

-Analyze test output, identifying discrepancies and clearly documenting defects; following up on issue resolution as required

- Ensure individual and team quality and performance metrics are met
-Identify and support execution of improvement initiatives within the TQA team including:
*Building and refining M-KOPA's testing tools and methodologies and working with the team to build automated testing tools and processes

Requirements;

a. Education:

Degree Computer Science or Information and Technology or other related discipline.

Certified

IS -TQB Certification or has attended formal quality assurance training
-Candidates without a university degree in a relevant field will be considered provided their experience and skills are relevant


b. Experience:
3+ years of relevant Quality Assurance technical experience
Experience with Visual Studio Test Manager or similar test management tools
Proficiency in planning, writing and executing test specification and test plans
Desirable:
-Excellent testing knowledge and ability to use latest testing knowledge and standards
-Excellent understanding of software development life cycle and software test life cycle
methodology
c.Required skills:
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Strong testing skills with the desire and ability to find bugs
-Strong knowledge of software development concepts
-Critical thinker with analytical skills and ability to see the big picture while at the same time paying attention to minute details
-Excellent interpersonal skills with a willingness to go the extra mile to assist other team members
-A results-oriented individual who thrives working in a fast-paced environment
-Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage own time with changing priorities
-Knowledge of SQL Server and/or other database systems
-Must have experience in Agile Methodology

It has also commenced licensing its technology to partners in other markets. M-KOPA has been recognized for its pioneering business mode and scale, notably winning the 2015 Zayed Future Energy Prize, being selected as the top New Energy Pioneer at the 2014 Bloomberg New Energy Finance awards and earning the 2013 FT/IFC Excellence in Sustainable Finance Award.
