Job Summary

The Study Clinical Officer will participate in pediatric research including data and samplecollection. S/he will be expected to observe good clinical practice in carrying out duties andwork as a team with other staffs. S/he will be reporting to the Study Coordinator or the MedicalCoordinator and should be ready to carry out other duties as delegated by the StudyCoordinator.

Terms of Employment:
Contract for one year, as per KEMRI Scheme of Service. The successful candidate shall undergo a three (3) months probationary period for the first three months upon initiation of employment. Required Qualifications:

  1. Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery
  2. Have the necessary registration documents
  3. Computer Literate
  4. Three years’ experience working in a busy Pediatric clinic or Ward set up
  5. Three years’ experience in Pediatric Phlebotomy
  6. Good communication skills
  7. Ready to work under pressure
  8. Be a team player
