Job Summary

To provide IT support and manage the Wide Area Network(WAN)

Minimum Requirement

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, BIT or a related field from a recognized university or institution
  2. Knowledge of networking and data communication is desirable
  3. Skills in administering Windows servers operating system
  4. Should be proficient in the management of the Active Directory system for Windows Domain Environment
  5. Should have knowledge of the Linux operating system
  6. Should be creative in problem solving and have an urge to tackle problems till completion.
  7. Should be a fast learner to adopt to the changes in the computing industry
  8. Should be self-driven , focused and able to work under little supervision
  9. Minimum of 2 years in IT department of a banking institution with multiple branches

Responsibilities

  1. Adds accounts for new users, remove the accounts of users that are no longer active, and handle all the account-related issues that come up in between
  2. Existing systems have to be configured to recognize and use new hardware
  3. Testing and deploying software in a packaged and managed fashion that’s compatible with the native upgrade procedures used on systems
  4. Regular monitoring of email and web services to ensure they are working correctly
  5. Diagnosing system related problems and calling in experts if needed.
  6. Research on new technologies and techniques for business improvement
