Who We Are
Amazima Ministries is an established organization that seeks to live out the love of Jesus by educating and empowering the people of the communities we serve. Amazima has provided scholarship opportunities for vulnerable children for the past twelve years and is excited to open The Amazima Primary School in 2021. The Amazima School is a Christ-centered Primary and Secondary School that exists to equip Ugandan students with the tools of learning to enable them to live fully for the glory of God.

Are you passionate about discipleship and the educational development of children? Do you desire to leave a lasting impact on peri-urban communities near Jinja?

We are looking for Teachers who are:

• Passionate Christ-follower desiring to use their God-given gifts to impact the lives of children
  
• Possesses a minimum of a Grade III certificate in Education
  
• Leads in the engagement of their students in purposeful learning
  
• Uses assessment to inform their instruction
  
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn new methods of teaching
  
• Display fluency in English and skill in Mathematics
  

P1-P3 teachers must be willing to teach multiple subjects to one group of students.
P4-P6 teachers must be willing to teach either a combination of Science and Math or Social Studies and English.
Note:
We are also looking for Specialty Teachers to work in the following areas: Art, Computers, Physical Education/Sports, Luganda and Music Dance & Drama.
