We are Looking for a highly motivated and experienced research design & evaluation methods specialist to join our team as an Evaluation Specialist Consultant in evaluating the “USAID Uganda Strengthening Supply Chain Systems Activity (SSCS)”. You will work alongside a team of experts to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the program's effectiveness, focusing qualitative and quantitative research methodology.
Requirements
• Master's degree in public health, statistics, social sciences, research methods, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in conducting public health program evaluations, preferably for USG funded projects (or similar).
• Demonstrated expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, with a strong understanding of data analysis techniques.
• Experience working in Sub-Saharan Africa, particularly in the context of health systems strengthening, is a plus.
• Data visualization
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and refine the evaluation plan, ensuring it incorporates robust qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Ensure the development and implementation of data collection tools, including surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions.
• Oversee data collection activities, ensuring data quality and adherence to ethical research principles.
• Conduct rigorous data analysis using both quantitative and qualitative approaches, drawing meaningful insights from the findings.
• Synthesize findings and contribute to the development of clear and concise reports and presentations for stakeholders, including USAID officials and Ugandan government representatives.
• Identify lessons learned and recommendations for future programs, ensuring their practicability and sustainability.
