We are seeking to recruit a Trade Marketing Manager, reporting to The Head of Marketing. The ideal candidate should be commercial minded and demonstrate the ability to lead. He/ she must also have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrate high intergrity and professional ethics and make decisions on the role in a prudent manner.

Overall Purpose of the Job
Responsible for executing the trade marketing strategies across key channels, manage the 4P’s and develop channel strategies for MRM.

Qualifications
  • At least 10 years of Proven experience in a Trade Marketing and commercial strategy role or both or National accounts management
  • At least 6 years management experience and/or in a similar position
  • A degree in Business Administration or an equivalent degree

Responsibilities

  • Create trade marketing plans and allocate the A&P budget across all channels and products
  • Segment the customer base and work closely with the sales team to optimize channel strategies and maximize ROI
  • Work closely with the marketing team to commercialize brand plans
  • Drive brand awareness across various categories and products on trade
  • Execute the trade marketing plans across regions
  • Attend and present at trade shows and events on behalf of the business
  • Coordinate the creation and delivery of marketing materials and content
  • Manage and motivate the trade marketing officers
  • Report on data and industry trends relating to competition
  • Review post-mortems to refine and inform future promotional programs
  • Monitor competitive activity to refine strategy and preserve market share
  • Develop and maintain master promotional calendar to track activity across all channels to prevent conflicts and drive revenue.
  • Oversee specific retail and distributor loyalty program developments and implementation across channels

Job Requirements

Required education: Bachelor's degree
Required relevant work experience: 10 years

Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
