KCSE Certificate
Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, Kenya Registered Nursing, or Kenya Registered Nursing in Mental Health and Psychiatry from a recognized institution
Higher Diploma in critical care or its equivalent from a recognized institution
Nursing Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya
Valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya
Two (2) years’ work experience in Peri-Operative/Theatre Nursing and care

Requirements for appointment

KCSE Certificate

Two (2) years’ work experience in Peri-Operative/Theatre Nursing and care

Monitoring patient outcomes
Providing appropriate healthcare services including Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI), immunization, PMTCT, ante-natal care and delivery
Providing health education and counseling to patients/clients and community on identified health needs
Providing critical care Nursing and patient support
Providing Perioperative Nursing care and Support
Handling and providing nursing care to mental health patients
Facilitating patients' admission and initiating discharge plans;
Maintaining records on patients/clients’ health condition and care; ensuring a tidy and safe clinical environment; and
Collecting and compiling data.
Performing any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor.
