• Bachelor of Commerce, Finance or Accounting option
  
• CPA (K)
  
• Active membership of ICPAK
  
• 5 Years working experience in a relevant position
  
• 3 Years supervisory experience
  
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  
• Hands-on experience with SAP business one
  
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
  
• Experience with general ledger functions

• Providing support to the Accounting Department
  
• Processing transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers, budgets, etc
  
• Preparing periodic error-free financial reports and submiting them to the chief accountant for approval
  
• Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies
  
• Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software, strong typing skills
  
• Ensuring the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  
• Preparing and maintaining important financial reports
  
• Evaluating financial operations to recommend best practices, identify issues and strategize solutions, and help organizations run efficiently
  
• Offering guidance on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit maximization
  
• Manage all accounting transactions
  
• Preparing budget forecasts
  
• Handling monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
  
• Reconciling accounts payable and receivables
  
• Ensuring timely bank payments
  
• Computing taxes and preparing tax returns
  
• Auditing financial transactions and documents
  
• Reinforcing financial data confidentiality and conducting database backups when necessary
  
• Complying with financial policies and regulations
