Description

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required:

1. Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or business relate field.

2. Professional qualification in Insurance (ACII, IIK), or progressive work towards completion of Insurance qualification.

3. 3-5 years’ relevant experience in the insurance industry.




Responsibilities

Secure new business directly or through intermediaries in all the business channels.

2. Maintain excellent customer service to intermediaries and clients.

3. Service existing business.

4. Follow up on renewals for medical insurance business.

5. Forward proposal forms and all KYC documents to underwriting department.

6. Ensure timely collections of premium as per the credit control policy.

7. Prepare weekly reports as required by the BDM Corporate health.

8. Undertake initial underwriting in accordance with set guidelines to ensure sound acceptance of risk.

9. Respond to customer and client enquiries.

10. Delegated Authority: As per the approved Delegated Authority Matrix.

11. Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time-to-time Key Performance Measures.
