Requirements for Appointment

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics
  
• Must have served as a Principal Finance Officer or Chief Accountant in public service or a large corporation;
  
• Must be conversant with government financial management systems.
  
• Over six (6) years work experience;
  
• Certificate in Leadership Course from a recognized institution lasting not less than four (4) weeks;
  
• Member of a professional body.

• Planning, directing and controlling Finance and Accounting Services
  
• Financial controller of the County Assembly;
  
• Supervising, Mentoring and coaching All the Officers in the Finance and Planning Directorate;
  
• Overseeing accounting for County Assembly Service funds as per the PFMA (2012);
  
• Monitoring implementation of financial controls system;
  
• Preparation of financial statements for County Assembly
