Our client, a fast-growing diversified business, with several operational units including inputs purchasing, crop sales, oilseed processing in Nakuru is looking to recruit a General Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving company’s growth agenda, by executing the Managing Director’s strategic objectives and being in charge of several operational divisions. The ideal candidate MUST have hands-on experience working within an international environment, preferably experience in logistics or as a General Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience within an international environment, preferably experience in logistics or as a General Manager.
  • Experience working in a range of previous types of companies will be a strong advantage.
  • Strong background in logistics planning.
  • Deep understanding of varied business functions.
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
  • Outstanding team motivations skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Strong background in Business Administration, MBA is a plus.
