Hospital Accountant

Qualifications:

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  
• Must be a CPAK holder.
  
• Must have over 5 years working as an accountant in a hospital.
  
• Must have an Impeccable integrity, high attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  
• Must be willing to relocate to Kisumu.

• Monthly petty cash checks and reconciliations.
  
• Ensure the hospital stores, supplies and procurement of commodities is well regulated, accounted for and maintained.
  
• Ensuring that hospital certificates, compliance, statutory returns and tax filing is in order.
  
• Ensure that all reports emanating from or due to the department are compiled and submitted conclusively, professionally and timely .
  
• Coordination and preparation of monthly payroll.
  
• Follow up with the banks on payments and monthly bank reconciliations.
  
• Payments to suppliers.
  
• Control of credit limits held by individual and corporate organizations.
  
• Chasing and collecting receivables.
  
• Liaising and coordinating with the external auditors.
