Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Assistant to join our team. The Human Resources Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the HR department in various administrative and operational tasks. The successful candidate must be a registered member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) in Kenya, possess a minimum of four years of relevant experience, and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Registration as a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) in Kenya.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in a human resources assistant or similar role.
  • Sound knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in using HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  1. Recruitment and Selection:

    • Assist in sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidates for various positions.

  3. HR Administration:

    • Prepare HR reports, such as headcount, turnover, and training metrics.
  4. Benefits and Payroll Administration:

    • Address employee inquiries regarding benefits, leave, and payroll-related matters.
  5. Compliance and Legal Requirements:

    • Assist in facilitating employee disciplinary procedures and grievance handling processes.
    • Support the HR Manager in fostering a positive employee relations environment.
