The Senior ICT Security role entails establishing, managing and administering of organizational ICT security, policies and procedures. He/ She will be expected to maintain healthy relations between all the Sacco’s internal and external stakeholders.
Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information.
Test, Identify and define system security requirements.
Participating in change management process.
Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cyber security designs.
Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols for the role.
Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices.
Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
Reporting security incidence to the relevant authority within stipulated timelines in policy and guiding laws.
Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions that will enhance management decision making for further system security enhancement.
Ensuring that the organization’s data and infrastructure (Production and Test Environments) are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
Training on IT security awareness to all staff to enhance awareness level and proactivity in handling cyber security threats.
Customer Care;
Answer various routine inquiries (both phone and mails) from the clients and other members of the general public.
Directing queries from the clients and other stakeholders to relevant officers and ensuring that feedback is promptly given.
Responsible for customer relations and maintaining the company’s image.
Promote an environment founded on company values of Customer focus, Integrity, Reliability and Innovation.
Act as an advocate for the company in all dealings with members and staff and present a professional image in all dealings with the public including appropriate dress standards, helpfulness and friendliness.
Qualifications
Relevant ICT Security Standards or Certifications will be an added advantage.
At least 3 years’ working experience in a similar role preferably in a financial institution.
Good understanding of ICT security and applications
Must have good understanding working in a robust IT environment.
Excellent understanding and interpretation of business processes
Ability to work with a structured and methodical approach.

Interpersonal/formal communication (oral and written) skills.
