The role is to set-up and support the Head of Finance, implementing and maintaining ongoing improvement of business processes, in order to funnel everything through their central platform.
What it takes to succeed:
- Qualified Accountant (SAIPA or CIMA qualified)
- Recently completed articles or nearly completed at a reputable audit firm (preferably top 10)
- Experience with Xero, Quickbooks and good with systems
- Experience performing VAT, PAYE, SDL, provisional tax & Income Tax
- Experience in statutory returns: IT12, IT14, IRP6, IRP5
- Ability & experience in working independently and remotely
- Experience in management accounts
- Proficient in excel, word, outlook
- Attention to detail
- Very good communication
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and an eye for improvement
- Ability to deal with different departments and clients
- Wants to grow with and be part of a growing international company

- Having a keen eye to add value to finance processes and taking ownership of finance processes allocated
- Liaising with various partners: tax firms, external audit & subsidiary accountants, suppliers & customers
- Have accurate costing for intercompany expenses
- Assisting FM to handle monthly financial cycles, tax returns and ad hoc tasks
- Bank reconciliations
- Ability to identify functions that can be automated and work with the automation team to implement
- Trend analysis
- Assisting with billing where required
- Producing accurate financial reports and information
- Managing credit
- Providing advice and insight in making financial decisions
- Managing risk of financial loss
- International best practices
