Responsibilities to include but not limited the following:

    * Moderate advertising content and controlling compliance with the social media app policies and safety of content uploaded to the short video platforms by advertisers including for materials with criminal, offensive, discriminatory, and other unacceptable content.

     * Follow standards for the security of the online communities, being able to achieve high monthly goals regarding quantity and quality.

     * Serve as an advocate for the user community.

     * Investigate and resolve issues regarding advertising content or advertisers that is reported for account support and/or safety; flag for action and resolve within agreed-upon turnaround times and standards of quality.

     * Respond to advertiser inquiries with high quality speed, empathy, and accuracy.

     * Understand and remain up to date with client policies and guidelines; resolve inquiries according to defined policies and procedures.

     * Follow the transfer policies to politely gather required data and transfer to appropriate team.

     * Report common and /emerging issues to Team Leaders and Operations Manager.

     * Responsible for escalating issues for outside of service boundaries or when resolution cannot be confirmed.

     * Be aware of data protection and non-disclosure obligations with respect to clients or company confidential and /or personal information.

     * Uses all tools as instructed and respects any given limitations in usage and inform Team Leaders for any inability to efficiently use tools from either competence or system's malfunctioning of view.

     * Achieve productivity and quality targets as set by Team Leaders in relation to themselves and other team members.

     * Assist our community and help resolve inquiries empathetically, accurately and on time.

     * Make well balanced decisions and personally driven to be an effective advocate for our community.

     * Strong interpersonal skills, verbal, and written communication skills

     * Display a strong bias to doing what's right for our community.

     * Respond to inquiries with high quality, speed, empathy, and accuracy.

     * Gather, analyze, and utilize relevant data to develop ways to improve the overall user experience on the site.

     * Review the reported content within agreed turnaround times and standards of quality.

     * Recognize trends and patterns and escalate issues internally.


     * Amharic - Fluent Reading and Listening of Amharic Language is critical for content moderation work.

     * Excellent English language skills B2 English and above

     * High awareness of the cultural and political situation, noteworthy social issues, and popular trends in the market/region you will be supporting.

     * A desire to work in a team-based, fast-paced, international environment where you'll need to embrace different cultures, nationalities, and languages.

     * Working shifts - 24/7 (Both night and Day).

     * Basic hardware and software knowledge.

     * Knowledge of IT programs i.e., Word, Excel etc.

     * Degree or Diploma in relevant field
