We’re looking for a Lead Security Architect to lead the Security Architect team within M-Kopa to support engineering, mobile development, and IT operations


In this role, you will be expected to
    • Build a team to author or maintain a set of architectural artefacts for Azure Cloud, Microsoft on-premises, and Android mobile systems.
    • Advise the backend engineering, mobile development, and IT operations departments on security best practices.
    • Work as the architecture specialist for the security departments, assisting with secure designs for testing and production.
    • Act as a security reviewer for the procurement of internal, and third-party, tools, hardware and services.
You Might Be A Good Fit If You…
    • Have experience securely designing Azure Active Directory, Azure cloud services and on-premises Microsoft infrastructure.
    • Led a global team of technical security architects or security engineers.
    • Are familiar with secure DevOps and introducing secure testing principles into Continuous Integration pipelines.
    • Have knowledge of 3G, 4G and 5G infrastructure, including virtual PBX solutions.
If Location is remote, we will state: can be based anywhere where possible to work within a time zone -1/+3 hours UTC. We can offer a full-time permanent contract of employment to candidates’ resident in the UK, Kenya, Uganda or Nigeria, where our offices are based, together with a competitive salary (dependent on skills and experience), company bonus (dependent on company performance and OKRs), and a range of company benefits.
