This role is responsible for nurturing collaboration and alignment between key internal and external hotel stakeholder groups by developing and executing unified marketing strategies designed to build hotel awareness, generate hotel revenue and build market share. This position plays a vital role in developing content for a variety of mediums (print, digital, social, more), managing reputation and social channels, creating/supporting marketing, PR and sales messaging while enhancing brand equity and community stature for the hotel.

  • Develops and executes the overarching marketing strategy from marketing plans to
    budgets for the hotel that align with business priorities, with support and consultation of the Director of Sales & Marketing.

  • Cultivates partnership with and active participation in demand generation strategy development.

  • Reconciles marketing plan monthly with accruals, forecast in conjunction with
    Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • Leads and/or partners with Hotel Operations to conceptualize/execute property-level
    Programming and Activation, based on brand guidelines.
  • Serves as the hotel(s) brand guardian/liaison, verifying all marketing reflects brand
    voice. Leads the strategic pull-through of continent and brand promotions and campaigns.
  • Partners with Revenue Management to develop and execute promotional strategy.
  • Develops and manages property email marketing strategy, digital strategy across internal and Third-Party sites, paid media campaigns and performance and verifies proper execution.
  • Supports group lead generation efforts.
  • Runs, reviews, analyzes and clearly articulates to stakeholders’ key reports and adjust
    strategy accordingly.
  • Manages internal and external partners to verify deliverables are executed to support hotel strategy.
  • Develops annual marketing plan to maximize hotel revenue production and identify marketing opportunities on third party and local partner sites
  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns

  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence

  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)

  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights

  • Identify the latest trends and technologies affecting our industry locally and internationally.

  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points

  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience

  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies

Competencies and Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Marketing or any relevant field

  • 3+ years’ experience in Marketing within a similar operation

  • Vast knowledge in financial planning and strategy, marketing concepts, and sales planning

  • Excellent negotiation skills

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Critical thinking and analytical skills

  • Team work and cross-functional collaboration

  • Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the
    sales/marketing profession

  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database,
    email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns

  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools

  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.

  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate

  • Highly creative

  • Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal

  • Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in marketing

  • Strong media, presentation and computer skills
