  •  2 years’ experience in motorcycle -accident free
  •  Well trained in traffic safety and highway codes
  •  Well conversant with Nairobi streets, avenues and residences

    • Provision of transport to all Hospital departments to facilitate the following:

      • - Collection of any supplies
      • - Delivery of goods and materials to the various satellite clinics
    •  Report any case of accident, injury or damage of motorbikes to the Supervisor
    •  Ensuring that all of the hospital motorbikes have the necessary documents i.e. insurance.
    •  Ensure that authorization is obtained for all journeys on a daily basis
    •  Record mileage at the beginning and at the end of each journey in the journey log provided
    •  Responsible for the security of motorbikes during working hours and any goods on transit
    •  Ensure that the motorbikes are kept clean and serviced as required
    •  Careful use and handling of the motorbikes at all times
    •  Submit receipts for all cash spent on fuel and emergency repairs
    • diatric in-patients at the wards, ICU, General Nursery and Special Care Unit
    •  Facilitate the timely admission and discharge of all patients in accordance with hospital policy
    •  Review all investigation results in a timely manner, and to ensure all paediatric prescribing is undertaken with utmost care
    •  Regular attendance both in-hours and out-of-hours according to manning charts or rosters
    •  Assist management in drawing up and implementing policies and procedures for the Unit
    •  Ensure that patients/families are given adequate information upon which to base treatment decisions and follow-up
    •  Participation in the relevant department/unit quality activities program(s) as requested by the Units/Departments
    •  Be responsive to patient and relatives’ complaints, liaising with appropriate senior staff and the patient advocate
    •  Participate in the management of patients in the Well Baby Clinic
    •  Participate in Cardiac Camps, when necessary
