Operations Manager (FMCG)

Qualifications:

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in business management.
  
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ work experience as an operations Manager in the manufacturing sector preferably textile.
  
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality management systems.
  
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate employees.
  
• Sound understanding of operational metrics and KPIs, with a track record of driving operational excellence.

• Oversee and coordinate the activities of the textile department, furniture department, and sewing department to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  
• Monitor and manage the production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  
• Collaborate with department supervisors to optimize workflow, resolve operational issues, and implement process improvements.
  
• Establish and maintain performance metrics, regularly tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs)
  
• Develop production plans and schedules, considering customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
  
• Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure availability of raw materials and components for production.
  
• Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
  
• Provide strong leadership and guidance to the manufacturing teams, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  
• Recruit, train, and develop employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  
• Collaborate with other departments such as sales, marketing, logistics and directors to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of operations.
