Public Communications Officer

Requirements for appointment

• Be a Kenyan Citizen
  
• Have served in the grade of Public Communications Officer II or in a comparable and relevant position in the Public Service for a minimum period of three (3) years;
  
• Have a Bachelor's Degree in any of the following disciplines: Mass Communication, Communication Studies, Public Relations, Journalism international Relations or ifs equivalent from a recognized institution/ University;
  
• Have a clear understanding of the working of the media and the socio-political environment in Kenya;
  
• Possess good oral and written communication skills in both English and Kiswahili;
  
• Possess advanced computer skills; and
  
• Have shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
