The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, retaining, and growing a client base by assisting the clients to meet their own financial objectives.

Reporting Line: Head of Investments


Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Providing guidance to best fit the investment needs and requirements of clients,
  • Preparing and presenting proposals to existing and potential clients,
  • Meeting clients to understand their financial objectives,
  • Explaining complex information relating to financial products and concepts in a clear way,
  • Managing, maintaining, and building new and existing client relationships,
  • Growing a client book within the first 24 months and consistently thereafter,
  • Adhering to compliance, operational procedures, and practice management standards,
  • Staying abreast of product information, performance, and industry changes,
  • Undertaking business development activities,
  • Consistently achieving the allocated sales targets as per a performance scorecard, reviewed on a quarterly basis.

Formal Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in a relevant field is preferred,
  • Relevant Commercial/Financial Tertiary qualification,
  • CFP Advantageous.


Experience and Knowledge:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a client facing role within the Financial Services industry,
  • Basic knowledge of financial assets and portfolio concepts,
  • Experience and track record in high-performance sales environments,
  • Experience in client-facing advisory/servicing position,
  • Experience in building a deal pipeline and working through sales stages.


Computer Literacy:

  • Proficient in MS Office,
  • Experience using CRM systems,
  • Experience using financial planning toolkits/software.

  • Strong sales, interpersonal, and business-orientated person with the acumen to build client relationships,
