Overview of the Role:

Reporting to the Head of Corporate and Commercial Banking, the successful candidate will be responsible for growth of liabilities (deposits) through acquisition of new institutional banking clients in line with the set targets. The candidate will have good knowledge and understanding of liability products and can structure transactions as per set policies and procedures. He/she will develop and implement business growth strategies for different target sectors as stipulated in the overall liabilities growth strategy of the bank and contribute to the bank’s deposits base and revenue growth. He/she will actively manage existing clients and increase share of wallet.

  1. Identify and acquire new institutional banking customers and generate innovative ideas to grow liabilities relationships beyond the assigned targets.

  2. Proactively manage relationships with existing and target clients and service their requirements with the appropriate transaction banking capabilities while ensuring fund
    depth build up and proper composition of CASA, call accounts and deposits within the liabilities base while in parallel ensuring cost effectiveness

  3. Identifying client’s financial needs and provide need-based solutions such as Payments and Cash Management, Trade Services,Treasury.

  4. Promote products & services as relevant to ensure maximizing the full potential with clients across the bank

  5. Develop the relationships with clients & seek new business opportunities.

  6. Identify new products and services to meet clients’ requirements and table proposal for further review and possible development.

  7. Manage the account opening process, applying the proper requirements and procedure

  8. Maintain a comprehensive database of the customer’s operational records including the existing and prospective customer data

Qualifications /Technical
Skills Required:

  1. Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree, anM BA, MSC or its equivalent and/or Professional Qualification is an added advantage

  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  3. 5-8 years experience in institutional corporate banking and/ or related experience in sales and client relationship management.

  4. Proven ability to develop relationships with institutional banking organisations and it’s management.

  5. Excellent networker with great interpersonal, selling, negotiation, communication and relationship management skills.

  6. Dynamic, analytical and self-driven individual with the ability to work under pressure.

  7. Demonstrate high integrity and ethical
    standards
