Research & Development Officer II

JOB SPECIFICATION

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: –

• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Economics, Economics and Statistics, Communication, Law, Education, Arts, Anthropology, Sociology or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and
  
• Must have post graduate relevant experience of at least 3 years
  
• Certificate in Computer Application Skills from a recognized institution.

• Collecting and compiling data on specific area of research;
  
• Assisting in carrying out data analysis;
  
• Participating in developing and reviewing research instruments;
  
• Assisting in carrying out desk reviews and research;
  
• Drafting periodic reports;
  
• Assisting in developing research plans and concepts;
  
• Implementing research plans; and
  
• Any other duties as may be assigned
