As a supervisor you will support in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant as well as implement the company objectives at the branch level. You will plan and supervise the workforce to ensure a smooth and profitable running of the business.

Job Summary

As a supervisor you will support in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant as well as implement the company objectives at the branch level. You will plan and supervise the workforce to ensure a smooth and profitable running of the business.


  • Manage overall restaurant operations.
  • Ensure compliance of sanitation, hygiene and safety regulations and report any potential safety hazards.
  • Resolving customers’ complaints in a professional manner
  • Ensure that all facility standards and steps of service are met through all guests’ interactions
  • Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
  • Trains new staff and facilitates refresher training for existing staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations whilst encouraging improvement where necessary.
  • Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Provide leadership and direction for all restaurant staff to ensure the highest level of customer service.
  • Organize and conduct work schedules and departmental meetings communicating pertinent information to the staff, such as customer requests and menu changes.
  • Improve on day-to-day operational performance that help in achieving organizational goals and targets.
  • Stock (inventory) management.
  • Any other duty as may be assigned by management from time to time.


Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality management or hotel management.
  • Hospitality experience of at least 2 years in a busy environment.

  • Ability to work well and remain calm under pressure.
  • Interest in food and drinks.
  • High standards of personal hygiene and personal grooming.

  • Thorough knowledge of food and beverage operations and products, basic drink service and supervisory knowledge.
  • Ability to understand complex situations and provide relevant and timely resolutions.
