  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments.

  • Monitor sales to ensure targets and objectives are met while working towards monthly or annual targets assigned.

  • Strive towards having better understanding of customers and their requirements so as to be able to advise them in making better purchasing decisions.

  • Ensure brand visibility of company products is up to date at all times. Every product should have correct price tag. Items on promotion should have communications and wobblers.

  • Ensure that stores and shelves are well stocked at all times with right products and quantities. Items should be well Displayed, Arranged, correctly priced, and frequent rotation of products in store exercising FIFO.

  • Optimize sales volume and profitability by identifying profitable lines and bestsellers.

  • Ensure optimal availability of products over long and short term monitoring Supply is met against Demand.

  • Ensure Route to Market & Territory Management optimization.

  • Prepare regular sales reports, competitor’s activities reports, offer suggestion and promotion reports and any other required.

  • Hold regular meetings with HOD to discuss and analyze on progress, challenges, suggestions and recommendations for smooth flow of the business. Make recommendations for promotional strategies using sales and pricing data

  • Submit daily reports on fast/ slow moving items, competitor’s activities, pending/ received deliveries, price change, active offers and promotions and any other activity required.

  • Take full responsibilities on expired and damaged products if not communicated 90days prior to its expiry with frequent follow up with relevant department head.


Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in business related course.

  • 2- 3 years of experience working in retail or merchandising field.

  • Excellent analytical skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft office and IT skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service.

  • Determining the need for and implementing product promotions, price changes, mark downs, clear outs.

  • Stocking sales floor shelves and creating attractive product displays.

  • Monitoring sales and identifying any losses or stock wastage.

  • Working with suppliers and distributors to negotiate prices and order large volume.

  • Reviewing competitors, including pricing, profit, marketing and other progress.

  • Ensure that stores, shelves or websites are stocked with the right types and quantities of
    products.
