- Be fully aware of the company’s operations, structure and services.
- Follow and control the execution of contractual liabilities of customers, provide observation of customer payment deadlines, provide debt collection.
- Manage smartphone loan DC team activities and ensure delivery of set daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Monitoring and training on usage of call center tools in the department, company’s ERP system and 3rd party systems.
- Identify training needs and prepare training material.
- Do performance reviews as required by the company.
- Consult customers on possible solutions in debt repayment.
- Process and maintain precise data on customers anytime, so that other employees can access actual information on debtors, debt remnants and statuses.
- Coaching, call listening, and calibration of agents calls.
- Handle customer queries on call and office visits.
- Provide suggestions on debt collection process improvements, system improvements and innovative collection strategies.
- Provide suggestions to underwriting and sales team to improve portfolio performance by analyzing the customer segment and loan issuance process.
- Provide suggestions to improve portfolio report quality, request new reports to see debt collection efficiency.
- Strive to reach high quality Smartphone loan portfolio quality.
- Ensure that each debt collection case is accurately documented in the system according to company’s standards.
- Manage optimal team capacity according to budget and portfolio quality targets.
- Any Other duties Assigned
Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or related field.
At least 2 years of relevant experience as Debt Collector, preferably in a Financial Institution
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical &
problem-solving skills.
Ability to adapt quickly and work
independently.Fluent in English and Swahili
