Monitor and ensure recognition of all revenues relating to Bancassurance.
Negotiate on binders as well as different rates with insurance companies to create value to customers.
Adherence to the credit binder policy with regards to terms and Insurance rates.
Ensure timely production reconciliation to ensure the gross premiums align between NCBA BIL and the insurance companies. Drive negotiate on binders as well as different rates with insurance companies to create value for customers.
Reviewing all underwriting policy documentation to ensure the most comprehensive covers are availed to the bank’s clients
Safeguard the quality & adequacy of cover given to the clients
Provide technical inputs for all product contracts with underwriters.
Ensure policy documentation and processes are strictly adhered to, to ensure that the clients are adequately covered.
Conduct monthly production reconciliation with underwriters and follow-up for remedial action.
Ensure that renewal notices are issued timeously
Undertake risk management of the agency’s portfolio including coordinating risk surveys for corporate customers, portfolio diversity management. Manage risks for individual client accounts for large customers e.g. Corporate customers, Bank’s portfolio
Oversee proper management of motor insurance certificates and timely declaration with underwriters.
Ensure that all proposal documents and risk notes are filled accurately and submitted to the underwriters
Confirm that policy documents are issued to the clients
