KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE:

Required Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar configuration role working with Workday in area of expertise

  • Undergraduate or Bachelor Degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Technology or similar.

  • Good written and spoken English.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Other languages are a bonus, particularly Spanish, French or Portuguese.

  • World Vision Experience (past or present).

  • Demonstrated ability to think independently, analytically, problem solve, deliver solutions and results by recommending best practices.

  • Ability to prioritise workload and provide timeline follow-up and resolution to manage multiple high-priority assignments while meeting deadlines and quality standards

  • Strong business acumen within a technical environment

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

  • High curiosity and desire to learn, highly motivated

  • Proficient computer skills with current technology, i.e. MS Office and other productivity or project management tools, and can be a quick learner to larger enterprise systems

  • Able to work in team, collaborate effectively and build relationships

  • Proficient and demonstrated understanding of P&C (HR) and P&C business systems & processes and a solid understanding of the dynamics of how P&C functions within a global context

  • Ability to offer input on issues and challenge the status quo/conventional wisdom

  • Continually strive to deepen your knowledge and understanding of the Workday system and environment

  • Collaborate with the Workday Business Analysts to analyse and solution Workday requirements, working to understand country and regional regulations where needed

  • Plan, design and configure new Workday functionality and enhancements in area of expertise, including business process configuration and condition rules.

  • Manage migrations between environments using the object transporter tool

  • Write reports and create dashboards in area of expertise.

  • Resolve service requests, issues and defects and escalated cases in relation to Workday

  • Involvement testing activities as required

  • Involvement in the preparation and upload of data via EIB’s as necessary

  • Support change management activities by inputting in to user procedures, guidelines, documentation and training materials produced by other internal resources

  • Facilitate the smooth creation/ updates of integration work completed by other internal resources through awareness of how changes and developments will impact these

  • Work with internal resources through Workday release functionality and review to determine what option functionality will be turned on each Workday release.
