Bachelor’s Degrees in Electrical Engineering; A post-graduate qualification in power systems engineering or equivalent will be an added advantage
Over 3 years’ Experience as a Dispatch Officer.

Technical competencies:

Technical knowledge and understanding of the Business Hub networks & infrastructure.
Deep understanding of principles and power distribution operations.
Good technical knowledge in switching operation
Good knowledge of materials used in electrical power systems.
Safety and basic standard protection
Proficient in the use of computers (MS Office application).
Personal safety on the job awareness level.
Understanding of electrical distribution Regulations and system.

Co-ordinates the operation of all Network Activities in the Region.  
Maintains daily operating log on all operations both routine and emergencies.  
Receive hourly load readings from the Business Hub and report all operations to the HQ dispatch.
Liaise with relevant stakeholders in load coordination.
Prepares periodic and ad-hoc reports to relevant stakeholders.   
Perform any other duty as requested by the Network Operations Head and TM.
