- Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk
- OND in Accounting, Finance or relevant field with 2-3 years experience
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
- Familiarity with finance regulations
- Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
- Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g.EMR and Peachtree)
- Organization skills
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.

- Reconciling invoices and identifying discrepancies
- Creating and updating expense reports
- Processing reimbursement forms
- Cash/ Cheque Receipting
- Banking activities
- Recording of receipts in cash/cheque register
- Filing payment vouchers
- Data entry and update in the EMR
- Petty cash handling
- Sighting and confirmation of supplies from vendors
- Donor payment requisitions
