- Lead and manage the Quality Assurance Department to ensure the production of high quality product at lowest cost, with the appropriate and stipulated standards.
- Oversee all statutory and regulatory compliance matters of the organization.
- Develop and organize consumer and customer requirement in line with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage Supplies Quality Management Systems through standardized approved requirements for all Packing &Raw Materials.
- Develop tools and conduct Supplies Audit for improved and enduring supplies.
- Conduct periodic Suppliers and Contractors Performance Evaluation.
- Develop, coordinate and manage the Integrated Management System of the Organization.
- Develop and create Management System documentation database for the Organization.
- Develop and organize the alignment of all processes with a view of achieving Management System Certification such as ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
- Take ownership of driving Quality Control & Quality Assurance compliance to with statutory and all other requirements.
- Develop tools of measuring and conduct periodic GMP, GHK, and HACCP Audit of the factories.
- Do periodical audits and do effective co-ordination with plant manager/production managers’ and ensure the desired standards in production process.
- Manage Customer and Consumer Response Program for improved Customer Satisfaction.
- Ensure planned KPI’s of efficiency performance are met or exceeded while reducing wastages across key processes.
- Make sure that products are certified safe before releasing to the sales department.
- Monitor all communication related to quality/audit and implements any necessary changes.
- Assist operation managers with process equipment and product/package troubleshooting and innovation.
- Collaborate with other departments to implement procedures and improve quality performance.
- Monitor the performance of key production equipment through Statistical Process Control SPC for proper management decision.
- Responsible for Research and Development of New Products, modification of the existing ones, sourcing for other viable Packaging and Raw Materials- a cost saving program.
- Advise Top Management on new areas of quality improvement opportunities.
- Ensure timely action and communication of Matters impacting on product quality and food safety.
- Organize and Manage Trade Quality Program for effective monitoring of trade products and storage on offsite warehouses.
- Ensure safety of all personnel within the QA Department.
- Establish and submit quality Monthly reports.
- Ensure all necessary records and documents are updated and intact for Integrated Management System.
- Perform any other relevant duties as and when required by the management.
