Job Description

  • This role is responsible for developing the organization’s entire communications direction and roadmap for scripting, developing and editing contents for both our offline and online audience.

Requirements

  • Professional Pedigree & Proven work experience in Communications or other related degree from a reputable university
  • Excellent and good understanding of Corporate Communications and PR business techniques, methodologies and tools.
  • At least a minimum of 3+ years’ experience working in marketing or communications role.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft power point, Excel, Word, Visio etc.
  • Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders of a diverse cultural mix and timeliness in Communications & PR Projects deadlines
  • Knowledge of Up to date on industry trends and ability to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Superior writing and verbal communication skills, top research skills and knowledge of SEO best practices.
  • Verifiable experience in writing clear, concise marketing copies.
  • Proficiency in the use of writing tools and software like Grammarly, SEMRush, Hemmingway, RankMath SEO etc. and content management systems e.g. WordPress, and Joomla
  • Great Eyes for spotting errors & dedication to eliminating them
  • Capacity to communicate at the right time with full perspective of the situation with transparency in the Management of the company’s reputation while being mindful of your persona while representing the company in Public domains.

Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible for the organization’s information, public relations and communications management.
  • Coordinate & supervise the creation of SEO-optimized articles, blog posts and audio-visual content that are relevant to our company’s specific industry niche and drive traffic that improves the Company’s Product ranking on search engines.
  • Ability to make clear, concise marketing communications copies to promote the company’s products and services.
  • Research industry-specific trends and keywords and ensure that all audio-visual content aligns with the same.
  • Coordinate the digital marketing teams to create visuals that rightly illustrate articles
  • Identify Company’s stakeholder preferences and needs and prepare well-structured drafts that address the same.
  • Monitor offline and online communication activities and create budgets for them.
  • Develop and implement marketing communications campaigns, strategies and monitor their success.
  • Define key performance indicators for each communications channel which will show the campaign’s success rate.
  • Determine strategic communications campaigns that will help further organizational goals.
  • Create internal communication protocols and initiatives that will boost employee morale.
  • Oversee the creation of official marketing and communications collaterals to ensure that they are consistent with the organization’s brand. These include White papers, Project Documents, reports of all kinds, website copy/text etc.
  • Represent the organization at events and press conferences.
  • Reach out to influencers, media and beyond to arrange story placements on a national and global level.
  • Develop all articles and publications for all internal and external communication activities including monthly newsletters and constantly updating organization’s official websites.
  • Manage the organization’s implementation of assigned business and communication projects.
  • Monitor information flow, files and archive strategic data and ensure professional and timely delivery of response to enquiries.
  • Provide general editorial services to all Company’s Media platforms.
  • Gather, analyze and evaluate relevant data and provide comprehensive reports and decision memos.
  • Write Speeches for events and programs and prepare presentation reports, statistical charts, briefings and minutes of organization’s meetings.
