  • The Data Analyst will analyze and Analyse large amounts of raw information to improve business, build data products, models and extract valuable business insights. Support product, sales, leadership and marketing teams by providing insights gained from analyzing company data.
  • The ideal candidate is adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimization, using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action.
  • The candidate should be highly analytical with a knack for analysis, math and statistics. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data as well as passion for research and machine learning.

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree / HND in Computer Science, Maths, Statistic or any related discipline
  • Preferred years of experience: 3-5 years
  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst
  • Experience in data mining
  • Understanding of machine-learning and operations research
  • Knowledge of R, SQL and Python
  • Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) and data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop)
  • Analytical mind and business acumen
  • Strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra)
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
