Responsibilities

  • Prepares documents to put out tenders for contractors
  • Project management and supervising and coordinating work of contractors
  • Planning and overseeing building operation/renovation
  • Plan for future development in line with strategic business objectives
  • Allocating and managing space in the compound
  • Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health, and security standards
  • Supervising multi-disciplinary teams of staff including, maintenance, handyman, and pool attendant
  • Advising on energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Lease management
  • Managing building maintenance activities
  • Coordinating cleaning of the pool, parking space, and generator room
  • Analyses utility bills and energy output
  • Purchase insurance coverage for the building
  • Inspect the structure of the building and determine if repairs are needed
  • Evaluate and adjust energy expenditure
  • Advise staff on how to reduce utility bill
  • Implement programs and provide leadership
  • Perform environmental hazard management/planning and remediation
  • Perform facility plant equipment obsolescent planning, budgeting and replacement
  • Maintain vendor relationship
  • Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise
