- The Finance Officer will provide support to the Finance Specialist to ensure prompt disbursement and reporting both at all levels of grant implementation.
Educational Qualification and / or Work Experience Requirements
- S/he must possess HND / B.Sc in Accountancy / Finance or related discipline.
- Professional Certification (ACA or ACCA) is an added advantage.
Desired competencies:
- Minimum of 4 years working experience.
- Excellent technical, written and presentation skills are highly desirable.
- Ability to work as part of a team and to be self-managing.
- Excellent inter-personal and team building skills.
- Proven work experience of at least 4 years as a Finance Officer or similar role
- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
- Experience using financial software [SAGE and Quickbooks]
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Knowledge of financial regulations
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Sharp time management skills
- Strong work ethic with an ability to manage confidential data.
- Acceptable knowledge of relevant accounting & tax laws in Nigeria.
