Who You Are4+ years in top tier banking, consulting, private equity, or similar Current MA or MBA candidate Self-starter who is passionate about creating lasting change in underserved markets Excellent analytical ability and discipline; ability to think clearly, structure problems logically, and then design and implement solutions that focus on the core issues Ability to build strong relationships with partners and colleagues in challenging environments Exceptional presentation skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse audiences Demonstrated leadership skills; preferably in fast-moving and entrepreneurial environments Proficient in basic accounting, financial modeling, financial forecasting, and budget development Deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities businesses face in frontier markets, as well as the macro-economic trends that impact them Past exposure to Development Finance Institutions and/or development agencies is particularly relevant Willing to take on new types of work, even without prior experience or direct supervision Enthusiastic about working, traveling, and living in a challenging environment Comfortable with ambiguity; able to operate effectively in a changing context Humble Direct experience working in location is a plus Language proficiency in location is a plus
